If you live in Denver or the surrounding area, you’ve probably noticed the numerous Regional Transportation District (RTD) stops and signs throughout the city. The RTD travel system is an asset to our state, and offers an impressive array of routes to make travel a breeze. The Denver Tech Center area is home to several Light Rail and bus stops, and the Belleview Station stop is just minutes from one of our new-construction condo communities.

Interested in learning more about RTD? Here, we share why we love having this transportation option in our state:

Scope of Travel

Unlike many other bus routes, RTD routes are available throughout Denver and beyond. The RTD Light Rail and bus system makes it easy to explore every corner of Denver and catch a ride to surrounding cities, including Boulder, Littleton, and Greenwood Village. If you’d like to explore current routes or plan your trip, please visit the RTD website.

It’s Affordable

RTD offers affordable transportation for most budgets, and discounts are available for seniors (aged 65+), individuals with disabilities, and Medicare recipients. Local fares start at $3, and special packages are available if you’re a frequent rider. The Day Pass offers unlimited bus or train rides for the day, all for the price of one round trip. MyRide and the 3-Hour Cash Pass are also excellent options, and you can learn more about pricing and passes here.

In addition to the affordability of RTD, using public transportation reduces the costs associated with vehicle ownership. By taking the Light Rail or bus, you’ll save at the gas pump and minimize wear and tear on your vehicle. Ideally making the Flats at VillaRosso a community where the extra expense of a car is not necessary.

Next stop: Home.

One of our new condo communities is located just minutes from the Light Rail stop at Belleview Station, and our residents benefit from close proximity to an abundance of retail shops and dining options. To learn more about our available units, please reach out to our team.

It’s Environmentally Friendly

Denver is well-known for being an environmentally conscious city. Many of our residents strive to make decisions that benefit the planet, such as walking or using public transportation whenever possible. While walking or biking to work or around town may not always be a feasible option, RTD makes it easy to reduce your environmental impact. Fewer vehicles on the road cut down on traffic and reduce emissions, so using public transportation whenever possible is a convenient, stress-free way to go green.

The RTD system is a valuable addition to our city, and many stops are available throughout Denver. If you’re looking forward to using convenient transportation, consider moving to a community that’s near a Light Rail stop.
